Terroir, People and Time, the core values of Rémy Cointreau, have been rooted into and blossomed through the Greater China team. We injected the DNA of youth and diversity in:
- Designing and creating a new Group structure that is more agile and efficient;
- Creating contemporary business units and jobs to solidify our position as leaders in the market;
- Attracting talent from different industries who bring fresh eyes and ideas.
Liqueurs and spirits—identified to resonate with key opinion leaders for the young, fashionable generation—became more and more popular within our employees’ daily lives, both in work and after work. E-commerce has also accomplished a lot of “impossible missions”, creating miracle stories in our era.
To further develop our junior talent pipeline, this year, Rémy Cointreau China rolled out our first Management Trainee project to recruit newly graduated university students to join us as management trainees in LOUIS XIII, Rémy Martin, Liqueurs & Spirits and E-commerce. The project was launched by campus recruitment in spring, in which we formed a dream hiring team comprising department heads and middle management team members. We hosted two wonderful campus talks at top universities in Shanghai, where we presented our core values, brands and unique way of working. Hundreds of students attended the campus talk, and thus, were deeply attracted by our culture—most notably, the charisma of our young, dynamic management team, who interacted with and engaged the students. They, as all Rémy Cointreau employees, are the best ambassadors for our company—far more than any words!
