Learning a new occupation... at the age of 50
In 1981, the young Chantal Breuil, aged 20 and a qualified trilingual secretary, joined Rémy Martin as secretary to the Export Sales Administration. She was then appointed secretary to the Export, Director and, in 1988, was promoted to become sector manager for Export Sales Administration Asia. In 1996, Chantal became sector manager responsible for Customer Service in the Asia, Americas and Pacific regions. After working in sales administration and customer relations, Chantal's career next headed toward marketing. In 1999, she was appointed coordinator of Marketing & Sales operations for the Asia, Americas and Pacific regions. However, in 2012, following a reorganization, Chantal once again changed direction and was promoted to the role of Human Resources Assistant attached to the HRD of the Cognac site, a radical professional change involving the learning of a new occupation… at the age of 50!
